The new special register CURRENT LOCK TIMEOUT is very useful.  It gives you the 
ability to allow one application to set a different value from the system-wide 
setting of IRLMRWT.  But don't forget about zparm SPREG_LOCK_TIMEOUT_MAX.  An 
application could set CURRENT LOCK TIMEOUT to the max value of 32,767 seconds.  
That's a long time.  SPREG_LOCK_TIMEOUT_MAX allows you to control how high an 
application can set that special register.  However, the default value of 
SPREG_LOCK_TIMEOUT_MAX is -1, which falls back to the value in CURRENT LOCK 
TIMEOUT.
