Right, we're using the JES-FTP interface for most of the work.

The thing is, there are thousands of tests run. It's only the ones that fail
that we're interested in saving. And all of these steps take time: the SDSF
interface can take many seconds to run. So if we do it for EVERY test, we'll
elongate the cycle by a lot (like, beyond what we can afford). Our current
thinking is thus to only save the job output when a test fails, at which point
we're more or less aborting anyway. I guess that makes it PFFDC ("Probably
First-Failure Data Capture")!

How much of what you need is available in:
<https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/3.2.0?topic=ftp-interfacing-jes>
    Receiving spool output
        Receiving a group of spool files ???

Does Co:Z sftp support this?
