We've enabled MT_ZIIP_MODE=2 on our systems. At yesterday morning's production LPAR IPL, I expected it to take effect; it's in IEAOPT00, with PROCVIEW=CORE in LOADxx.
Instead, we had the zIIP multithreading mode equal to 1 after the IPL, according to D M=CPU. Issuing SET OPT=00 changed the mode without having to do anything else.
