Do you mean tools to apply fixes - or tools used by service(the owners of
the products) to help diagnose problems.

For example we have SMP/E for z/OS, and had (40 years ago) MSHP (pronounced
by us as Mishap) for VSE

Tools to debug - GTF, dumps, IPCS for looking at dumps, joblogs etc
