If the program you want to assemble includes EXEC CICS commands, then you need to preprocess it first, using the CICS translator program DFHEAP1$. As far as I know HLASM doesn't provide integration for the CICS translator, and there is no USS command to invoke it. I wish I was wrong. This means to me that you would be responsible of properly pre-allocating the required DDNAMEs and of invoking it.
