I setup an alternate JES for testing. I have two unanswered questions, at the bottom:
To bring it up: SETSSI ADD,SUBNAME=JESA S JESA,PARM=(WARM,NOREQ),SUB=MSTR To start a started task under it: S TESTSTCZ,SUB=JESA To submit a job that runs under it: S SUBMIT,DS=SYSPROG.JCL,MEMBER=IEFBR14,SUB=JESA To display its spool utilization: &DSPOOL To stop it: &PJES2 Unfinished: How to logon under it instead of JES2. May need a 2nd TSO? How to retrieve job output from it via SDSF. May need NJE?
