IMHO it is quite good idea to keep track of every single volume on DASD
(and tape).
How? Spreadsheet + text editor are enough.
No, it is not much effort.
I know the above will not help in this case, but the question was
answered already: use ISMF panels. However I'd like to complement it:
keep in mind OS Config may not cover all the devices in your shop. So it
is quite likely you will have to use ISMF on several z/OS images.
