You can wish, but big blue wants backward compatibility, so it is unlikely they 
will change their algorithms or be open to suggestions when it comes to 
security. Perhaps IBM updated those algorithms, but did not tell us.

Perhaps in a new operating system, yes. ;-D

If you don't like RACF, you can always write your own version of RACF + 
algoritms. :-)
