Hi, I am in the process of installing a 2074 for a client. I know it's ancient, and unsupported, but everything this client has is ancient and unsupported.
I managed to get a working console session on the 2074. When I try to configure PCOM, I get the 2074 index message. When I try to vary the device (V xxx,console) i get: IEE313I UNIT REF. INVALID. What can the reason for this be? How do I fix it. The machine is a 2074 model 3 The computer is a 9672-R14 OS is OS/390 v2.8.
