ISAM is unsupported but not, purtroppo, unused. BDAM is in some sense 'unsupported' too, but it is even more heavily used.
Is your point a debater's or a substantive one? Eohippus, the 'dawn horse', is unsupported too, indeed extinct; but his fossil remains abound.
