At UK GSE in November, one of the opening presenters was Tomas Kadlec, from Tesco - a very large Wal-Mart-like retailer in Europe. He presented an interesting slide show summarizing how they have transformed their z/OS database and application access from 3270 screens to web, tablet, and phone clients.
