In at least most countries SystemPac is no longer available. (ServerPac, by contrast, should be available "anywhere.") However, where SystemPac remains available, you can use standalone DFSMSdss restore to restore the volumes if you order it in Full-Volume Dump format. You would also need to assure that it can be ordered on compatible tape media or DVDs to use it successfully on a new system.
5. Ask someone in the z/OS community to build you a IPLable DSF Standalone Program or contact Newera Software for a quote on SAE.
ICKDSF is no longer required if you use the Customized Offerings Driver (COD). It is also no longer required if you are in a country where SystemPac is available and you order it in Full-Volume Dump format.
