If anyone has a copy of the Westinghouse Fast Dump Restore for DOS
please see that it gets scanned for posterity and saved somewhere like
bitsavers. The glossary of terms such as BJF - botched job
foreground, APAR - All Problems are (Just) Recorded, VSAM - Very Slow
Access Method and the dissertations in the appendix such as why they
refused to have a no label option for tape and the receiving of a dump
with mismatch of R- and track address are classic. Obviously the
Westinghouse legal department never read it.
