I have searched the archives but just need some clarification. If I want to hard cap an LPAR so that I can limit the cycles for a single application, would I use the HMC panel and check the Initial Weight box?
What we have is a product that we want to limit to 100 MIPS or so. We're running a z196 with 2000+ mips and the software cost is getting exorbitant. If we set the weight so that it is about 5% of the total, will that do it?
