Hi Folks,

The program IDCMSGEN from CBT File 360 (Wisconsin State Wilson Street computing center) creates DEFINE cards to redefine an existing VSAM dataset. The program does so, by generating a LISTC report internally, and then scraping that report for information, in order to format the appropriate DEFINE cards to recreate the VSAM dataset. Problem is that IBM changes the LISTC report from time to time, and this program, IDCMSGEN must be adjusted to appropriately reflect IBM's LISTC report changes.

Request..... Does anyone have updated source code for IDCMSGEN, so it works for recent systems? The program has to be changed further for z/OS 2.1, because the LISTC report no longer shows IMBED and REPLICATE information, and all the subsequent information in ATTRIBUTES is slid over two spots to the left. But if I would have good source for at least the 1.12 level, I can modify it further for 2.1.

If you are using the IDCMSGEN program from CBT File 360, from the Wisconsin State datacenter (originally), please let me know. Thanks MUCH.......

All the best of everything to all of you.

Sincerely, Sam Golob
