So the minimal zPDT cost, including at least $1K-$2K outlay for purchase
of one of the few approved hardware platforms for running zPDT, is $5-6K
for 1st year, $3,750 per year for later years -- but you have to be
associated with a qualified IBM ParnerWorkd independent software vendor
company.  The price at least seems to be coming down, but still not
something targeted for personal experimental use.
