The elephant in the room is that there is no way to have complete confidence in 
backups - of whatever nature. They may be "consistent" (FSVO), but are they 
valid ?.
And if they are bad, there is no way to know how far back you need to go to get 
a "good" copy. And whether your business could survive going back that far.
