There's some interesting mainframe business news today. IBM just announced the pending acquisition of the company behind the EZSource development tools. Here's the press release:

The EZSource Eclipse-based tools are already well integrated with IBM Rational tools such as Rational Developer for z Systems (RDz) and Rational Team Concert (RTC) and with many other tools and platforms.
