We are still on 2.1, but I keep my eyes open for any weird and strange errors, like this nice and funny one which I learned earlier: 'TSO/E will not accept a password that begins with a question mark '?' character.' Trust me, try character ? in the password field when logon to TSO. You will get a tutorial screen as a reward.
