Have you tried Health Checker. These are the ones that I see:

VSM_CSA_CHANGE
VSM_CSA_LARGEST_FREE
VSM_CSA_LIMIT
VSM_CSA_THRESHOLD
VSM_PVT_LIMIT
VSM_SQA_LIMIT
VSM_SQA_THRESHOLD

Each one has some form of ECSA listed. Some are near the top, others you will
need to scroll down to see. Some even have ECSA from the prior IPL.

Are there any messages in SYSLOG or RMF or SMF which can warn me that (E)CSA is
getting too full?

I looked at these messages, but, unless I missed something, I don't think these
are the (correct?) warning messages for (E)CSA filling up?

IRA220I, IRA420I, IEA140W, IEA590I (?) or something like IGVH502I

Perhaps ILRH0104I should be sufficient or are there other (better?) message(s)?
Or should I look somewhere else in Health Checker, RMF or SMF?

No thank you. I'm too afraid to do that deletion fun. ;-)
