"Z EOD" does nothing but writing some data to logrec, emptying SMF buffers and switching the active dataset, and closing syslog. That's it. "V XCF....OFF" does nothing until the command is confirmed. The REXX will continue to run until it come to the point where it confirms the "V XCF". The REXX will still continue to run until XCF loads the A03 wait state.
