The SE and HMC offer a task to view the temperature, system power consumption, and an overall processor utilization metric on an hourly basis. This is the "Environmental Efficiency Statistics" task. The data can be viewed on various intervals, such as a 24-hour period or week period. The task offers a way to export the data to media in a .csv format.
The Monitors Dashboard task also offers a view into environmental data but it is more for real-time display or recent history. The Environmental Efficiency Statistics task can go back many months. There was also the IBM Director product, Active Energy Manager, which could capture similar environmental information from not only the mainframe but other IBM products.
