Well, given the responses to my thread on "z/OS and C", I'd say that
"something better" is desired. I'd heard of Kotlin. It is JVM based, like
Java, Scala, Groovy, and other languages, so I thought it would be
interesting. I found this site:

where you can actually code some simple Kotlin programs & run them.
