Hello, I am having some difficulty in troubleshooting an application problem dealing with a started task, and want to create a dump of the application job and the STC at a particular point of time.
Can someone tell me if I can set a SLIP to create an SVCD when my job encounters a message that is produced in the JES joblog? For the sake of the discussion here: Applic. job = MYTESJOB STC used = DATABAS2 Message = "USERM001: JOB ENCOUNTERED UNMANAGED ERROR - ABENDING" If I can do this, I want to dump several areas for the job and the STC (I know how to code that part with the SDATA values. I suspect it is something like this: SL SET,ENABLE,J=MYTESJOB,JL=(MYTESJOB,DATABAS2),ACTION=SVCD,MATCHLIM=1,SDATA=(....),??? I just need to know what to replace ??? with for tripping this as soon as the message is produced. Thanks for your help!
