Maybe some of you know the reporting software Tableau which is used in a lot of companies in the meantime. Tableau has a rich set of data source connectors to join data from various technologies for reporting and analytics purposes. Here the URL www.tableau.com
Currently Tableau Desktop and Server application only supports an IBM Db2 connection and does not cover other data formats like VSAM, QSAM etc. which are used on z/OS side. We have submitted a Tableau feature request to also allow the read connection for other data formats than Db2 on z/OS or USS.
