You should be able to use DCOLLECT and parse out the output in a simple REXX exec.

To name just a few: IBM File Manager IBM DCOLLECT - you would have to create some code to read the DCOLLECT output Chicago-Soft MVS/QuickRef Compuware File-Aid Depending on how much DASD you have there is the z/OS command DS QDASD command.
