No, that's not correct. Infinidat also markets FICON-attached ECKD storage
(evidently not in 16U or smaller physical sizes), and there might be
others.
Yes, I forgot about Infinidat.
Regarding other possible - I doubt they still exist.
In the past we had BusTech and German company Interkom (AFAIK they
emulated tapes only).
In more distant past there were more, some of them produced disk packs
other plug compatible drives.
Fujitsu, STC, Memorex, Dysan, Nashua...
BTW: There were over 200 disk manufacturers in the past, now they are 3
(of course SSD is on the market).
