Thanks. To quote you: "This will be tricky IMO, since people who understand linux and docker will have to talk with people who understand z/OS and zCX (and WLM, container pricing, etc, etc)."
With the possible exception of Container Pricing, I entirely agree... ... It's a general point about zCX that Architecture is going to be a lot of fun. Deciding what to put into which container. For me the headache will be working out what each zCX instance contains - given I don't believe SMF speaks to the question. I hope there's some kind of operator command or somesuch that will lay it all out. But **my** first step will be to find out the PGM= program name or else the Unix program name for a zCX instance, whichever is operative. So, the system architecture (how many containers per zCX instance, etc) is really driven by the customer. This will be tricky IMO, since people who understand linux and docker will have to talk with people who understand z/OS and zCX (and WLM, container pricing, etc, etc). I would be happy to send you offline a zip file that contains the use cases (Dockerfiles, JCL, instructions) that we tested.
