" FSUM1007 Unable to open the message catalog. FSUM1009 Unable to execute the shell. " The IBM manual simply says: " Explanation The message catalog cannot be opened. Processing continues. System programmer response Verify that the message catalog exists in the file system. User response Contact the system programmer. " I am a very experienced z/OS Systems Programmer (65+) but have never seen this message before and am not sure what "message catalog" is being referred to here. I my case the SH <command> is not executed and I get no output in //STDOUT, only these above messages in //STDERR. Any and all help will be much appreciated :-) Cheers Steve ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
