Global investment banking & securities firm requires a Business Analyst to act as a conduit between business users & local software development teams covering - front, middle & back-office trading & processing systems - predominantly Equities/Equity Derivatives. The Business Analyst should have *progressed from technical background and must* have good experience worked within the Derivatives area of the Financial Industry. The BA will be responsible for overall delivery of requirements analysis for the above business areas and to drive technology solutions to completion. The Business Analyst is responsible for representing the Operations Area dealing with Derivative Products and supports gathering enhancements for the *COSTAR IT* product which is a *home grown product*. *Department Overview:* COSTAR IT team develops, maintains and supports application and technology infrastructure for all aspects of confirmation functionality for OTC derivatives. Globally deployed multi-tier system is developed in C/C++ and uses technologies like asynchronous messaging, XML, COM, MS Exchange, MS Word, Business Objects etc. on Unix and Windows platform with Sybase and UDB databases.
