Hi Business Partners, Here is what I have, it is a 3-6 month contract based in Orange County CA or Rochester NY please sends me solid candidates that have oracle projects implementation experience.
It is estimated to be about 3-4 month project and could roll into something longer. I would say it is a 3-6 month project. They do not have the skills in house to accomplish this; no travel is involved. They would either look for someone in NY or in Irvine or keep them here. We will be looking for a person with Prior experience in Implementing Oracle Projects and integrating it with Oracle Supply chain and Finance modules. Primarily they will be configuring the Projects module and creating and modifying workflows. Oracle Projects in general... Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Management modules in specific ...integration with Supply Chain, Finance, AND Order Management -- critical as many times projects is not necessarily done in conjunction with order management Below is a job summary that was submitted and reviewed by the client: Job Summary This position is responsible for assisting with the rollout and support of Oracle 11.5.10.2 Projects module including Costing, Billing, and Project Management. This includes but is not limited to: needs analysis, documentation, design, process improvement, configuration, conversion, data cleanup, systems testing, training, resolving critical issues, functional/configuration changes associated with change/enhancement requests. *Primary Responsibilities* Work with team to implement the Oracle Projects modules for North America operations. This includes gathering requirements, preparing documentation and designing any necessary interface to 3rd party software. Configure the Projects modules of Oracle as needed. Work with other members of IT to define and test system security parameters including: responsibilities, request sets, and system access. Plan and conduct regression tests, user acceptance tests, and converted data validations. Coordinate testing of system and business processes. Provide support to business unit clients and work with team to resolve critical issues. Identify, document and expedite resolution of Oracle functionality issues. Track and expedite Oracle SR (Service Requests) and assist with the planning and testing of updates and patches. Implement functional/configuration changes associated with change/enhancement requests according to governance process.
