We
tested VM:Backup's encryption last year. It works, but the algorithm used,
DES, doesn't meet our internal requirements. As for whether it meets
"current regulations", that's a question that your company's legal people will
have to answer.
To
vendors, please don't send me pitches for your encryption product. Every
time I answer a post in this thread, I get more of them.
