Hi,
We have been asked to enable output listings from MVS
to be distributed as pdf files. The first tool we looked at
was Leland's TXT2PDF tool (thank you Leland!), but
unfortunately, we have not managed to get it to create
documents with Hebrew characters in them.

So, first, has anyone else ever done that? (Maybe
someone did Arabic, and we could play around with it
to create Hebrew too?)

The other possibility that occurred to me was like this -
On my home PC, using Linux, I have created pdfs from
OpenOffice in Hebrew, by "printing" to a "print to pdf"
virtual printer. So I was wondering if it would be practical
to send the MVS output over to VM (via the existing RSCS
link) and have RSCS give it to a Linux virtual machine
which would create the pdf and send it back. (and all
of that on an old Linux - SLES 7 and only freebie software).

Would such contortions be possible, or would attempting
them just give me a backache? ;-)

All ideas and advice appreciated!
Thanks,
Shimon
