I have z/VM 4.2. It appears that NETSTAT OBEY isn't supported at my level:
netstat obey stop ctc1
DTCNET103E Invalid parameter: OBEY
I'm issuing the command from a user (MAINT) who's in the OBEY list.
Is that true?

.... With the addition of NETSTAT OBEY, the need for
OBEYFILE is considerably reduced. Someday Miguel and I would like get
ifconfig changed to use NETSTAT OBEY, but it hasn't yet bubbled to the top
of the priority list.
