Since I'm not running on a z/box yet (this winter), I've just built CP nucs and have used CPLOAD32 MODULE and MAP, throwing away CPLOAD and CPLOAD64. Today, I built a nuc with, what I think is the last bit of maintenance available for z/VM 4.4, and decided to put the full CPLOAD MODULE to the parm disk Before I copied CPLOAD32 as CPLOAD. There is no separate MAP for CPLOAD MODULE, however. There is a CPLOAD32 MAP and MODULE with the same for CPLOAD64, but not the combination. Am I missing something? My intention was to run the z/VM 4.4 nuc that would be both 64 bit and 31 bit capable until we had the z/9 and then start on z/VM 5.2. If I run CPLOAD and there would be a problem, which MAP would I use.
