When I use SCIF to look at the linux log after issuing "SIGNAL SHUTDOWN guestname", I see no shutdown activity. This is in contrast to issuing "shutdown -h now" from a linux signon, which shows immediate shutdown activity in the log and termination after about 1 minute. Fred
