Hi Paul, I invoked YAST and I do have an "online update" which says it is for "patches to correct & improve your existing installations". I think the YAST method is probably the best way to go.
Do I need to "rename" any particular file(s) (like sshd_config) before I download any updates so I can go back to my existing configuration in case I have some unexpected problem? I'm worried something might get modified that I'm not aware of... Thanks again for your help, Alyce -----Original Message----- From: The IBM z/VM Operating System [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of P. If so, you can simply use YAST to bring down the latest and greatest of anything in the release. If not, support is pretty cheap - on the order of $5K per year, and it gives you upgrade rights. -Paul ----- Original Message ----- From: "Austin, Alyce (CIV)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <IBMVM@LISTSERV.UARK.EDU> Sent: Monday, October 23, 2006 4:57 PM Subject: Re: OpenSSH Hi again, I had gone to the below site before I sent this note, but I didn't see anything referencing the mainframe Linux environment. Maybe, the lastest OpenSSH is already included in 8.2. (We will be upgrading our Linux in a few months to SLES10). I doubt that anybody has the most current version already compiled into an RPM for SUSE 8.2.
