Thanks Duane, but I didn't explain my part of the question properly (not the first time huh). What I meant was if the chipd is online to VM and and is needed by MVS we can move thse on the fly with the config on/off command. But what would you do to bring that chpid offline to a running VM system so MVS could access it? Is there a similar command to the config command on VM?
