Glad it was helpful. I guess it's time for me to write a requirement to change the default client setup to passive mode. That wouldn't have helped you directly here (since it's a client-side option), but it would be good prophylaxis for the CMS client to behave in a way that would be friendly to the common practice these days. There aren't too many places where active mode FTP is still a good default.
