Hi Mark. Not sure what your requirements are for this. I use monwrite service machine to just collect the files and early morning run my reports against for the previous day. The data is kept on a 3390-3 volume and execs automatically keep it leass then 80% full which hold about 7 or 8 days. These files can be used for real time review later if necessary.
Therefore me perfsvm userid is just used for realtime displays and brief past history which 3 days general is fine.
