Steve, I've always let my "PROP action routine" exec see all incoming reader files and then let the exec sort out what it wants. The following line in the PROP RTABLE works for me (the scale is there just to show column placements): |...+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5....+....6....+....7 $RDR FILE$ 1 80 ANSWERIT READER The ANSWERIT EXEC then grabs the spool ID from the incoming message and decides what to do with the reader file.
