I did this several times working elsewhere. Simplest way would be to have the disks you want cleared assigned to a POOL name different than where you want it to go. Then use the VMSECURE MAINT MANAGE DISKMOVE to the new pool. Disks linked r/o will move and the disks can be reclaimed later. Sorry I don't still have the execs I used to do this but it shouldn't take much to put them together. VMSECURE MAP volser, use that to build the VMSECURE MAINT MANAGE DISKMOVE commands.
