I don't know, even the experienced guys start to lose sphincter control when they need to expand a control disk. Just how many backups does it take before you feel safe enough to go ahead with that type of operation.

Conceptually, that is no different than on a VSE system enlarging a VSAM catalog or a moving a Linux root to a larger disk. Do it carefully and get it right the first time.
