When you say OSA, are you referring to ICC consoles?

To answer #2 .
I assume you want to move everything 520RES 520Wxx - 520Wxx .. 520PAG 520SPL
..
If you have access to the new volumes, you should be able to attach them and
do DDR copies for 520RES 520W01 520W02
use SPXTAPE to backup your spool files (don't forget the NSS's).
format/allocate new 520PAG and 520SPL ..
In your sysconfig file set your OLD 520xxx vols address offline_at_ipl.
Then IPL ..
Lastly restore your spool files SPXTAPE.
I think that should do it.

z/VM version 5.2 -
IBM z9 2096 BC processor 1 LPAR
VM running multiple VSE guests

Two questions that I could use any advice, tips or tricks with:

We recently migrated to z/VM 5.2 and an IBM z9 BC processor:

1) We recently switched our VM console from a dummy terminal to an OSA
connection. We 'disc' VM on the dummy terminal and reconnected the console
on the PC. That part worked fine. We will not be IPL'ing VM until this
weekend so my question is: What do we need to do to have the OSA console be
recognized as the VM console during an IPL of VM? For the dummy terminal,
we had the address hard assigned in the system configuration under Console
Definitions: Operator_Consoles....How do you do that same thing with an OSA
VM console? An example would be helpful. Thanks

2) We are planning on moving our VM packs from one set of 3390 Disk
drives to another set of 3390 Disk drives. Any hints on the steps that
should be followed to make this an easy transition? Thanks in advance
