Given the recent problems with various bits of the IBMlink back end, you may be seeing just lack of time. Lame, but if they're scurrying around trying to get things fixed, that might offer some excuse.
Personally I find that pretty lame. If a product is announced as ready to be ordered on a given date, then all involved parties should work to make that happen, or publish word that the target date will be delayed. Maybe IBM should re-assign Jim Elliott to this? :-)
