Or allow the server to tell the stack via SMSG to ignore stop monitoring this server for active port connections for xx seconds. Kind of like excluding this server from the list of servers that the stack keeps an eye on for a predefined number of seconds. That ensures that the server doesn't exclude itself and then dies trying to do what it is.
