As I far as I know, yes. You would still need to get the CMS Pipelines Runtime Library from the CMS Pipelines homepage because the level shipped with z/VM 5.3 is 10 years old. There's also a bug in the package that I have been wanted to fix for a while... There also appears to be a dependency on the level of libpcap that you have on Linux.
