With apologies for the late reply, the refcodes are in the relevant "Product Guide". Example: "Symmetrix DMX1000, DMX2000, and DMX3000 Product Guide". (The pdf I'm looking at is P/N 300-000-661 REV A07, dated March 2006.) Chapter 6, "Mainframe Features and Support" has a section "Error reporting and recovery" with Table 6.1 "Environmental errors reported as SIM messages" that has the SIM Ref codes. This table has contained all but one "REFCODE=" churned up in 6+ years of running off EMC DASD...and that omission (REFCODE=E489) was explicated in "Knowledgebase Solution" (emc112511). hope this helps,
