There are 11 possible reasons for RC 0105 from DEF CU. You can find the reasons in the back of the z/VM I/O Configuration manual. The z/VM book is SC24-6100 and you will find the explanations on page 323. If this is new, my first guess would be that one or more of the CHPIDs is not defined. You will need to evaluate the possible reasons to see if any of them apply.
