Job Title: Senior z/VM Systems Programmer Line of Business: SYSTEMS Location: New Jersey Job Requisition: 012739 At least 5 years experience with z/VM and 3 years experience with z/Linux . This person needs to thoroughly understand how to support, maintain, and tune the z/VM environment. Particularly when hosting z/Linux guests. Need s to be familiar with either VM Performance Toolkit or Velocity. Willing to learn and master these products. Needs to understand how to build, support, and maintain zLinux under z/VM . Needs to understand how to operate z/Linux under z/VM. Must be ready to work in a dynamic environment and be adaptable to change . Immediate needs are the implementation of DIRMAINT and the ability to cross train co-workers in the ESS MVS group. Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Must be organized and structured in their approach to supporting a z/VM and z/Linux environment. Must be a strong team player.
